We believe in everyone who stays with us enjoying great hospitality, in a relaxed, comfortable, worry-free atmosphere.

If you fancy a change, why not hire a bike?
We can arrange for any type of bike; adult, child, tag-on or trailer, complete with a picnic in panniers, cycle helmets and maps to be ready for you, after breakfast, here at the George. All you have to do is hop on and go!! (One-way with pick can also be arranged!)

If you are keen walkers, then bring your boots and we can suggest a number of walks straight from our front door, and even provide you with a packed lunch if you so wish.

We offer the additional services below - but if you would like something extra - please ask!

• handmade chocolates
• hampers - from picnics for walkers to champagne for Glyndebourne Operas freshly cut flowers
• freshly cut flowers
• champagne on ice
• breakfast in bed - any choice from the full menu!
• onsite visiting hairdresser can be arranged - for those last minute big day touches!
• cd's can be played through the DVD player
• each room has a selection of toiletries
