Attractions - Airbourne 2008
The biggest FREE airshow in the UK returns this year from 14 - 17 August 2008 with four days of
action packed flying on Eastbourne seafront.
800,000 are expected to attend and provisional flying displays currently include the RAF Red Arrows,
Eurofighter Typhoon and Harrier. Confirmed displays to follow soon.
Airbourne, The South Coast's biggest free four day air show, takes place
right across Eastbourne seafront. With around 80 flying displays, featuring for example the Red Arrows,
RAF displays, international military jets, historic aircraft, helicopter displays
and freefall parachutists; take place over the sea with clear views from the entire 5
miles of beach.
Also provisionally includes RAF ground display, arena displays, vintage vehicles, helicopter rides,
children's entertainment, simulators, exhibitors, food village and bandstand concerts each
evening and firework finale.
