The Village of Alfriston Quite simply an extremely attractive village with a long and varied history, located in the heart of the South Downs and Cuckmere Valley and surrounded by beautiful countryside with many attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy. The village has an old market square, a cricket pitch, a village green, many quaint and varied shops, the first national trust property and the "cathedral of the south downs" and much more!
